Born and raised in Los Angeles, Lynhdan Nguyen found a passion in photography during his travels in Southeast Asia in January 2008. He has returned there on numerous occasions to photograph the people and the beauty of their lives.

Lynhdan has always been drawn to the social documentary aspect of photography. He finds it on the urban streets and rural environments he explores in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Viet Nam. He searches for beauty where beauty is not often seen. He challenges himself to compose shots that tell a story.
